How to play Snes games on the R4DS

Step 1: Download SNEmulDS here

Step 2: Put the files with .nds and .cfg at the end of them onto the directory of the micro SD card

Step 3: Make a folder called Snes on the directory of the micro SD card

Step 4: Drag and drop a Snes rom onto the Snes folder

Step 5: Insert the R4DS (with the micro SD card inserted) into the DS and start playing

Every theme entered in this competition will be put on the site and the winner will be announced on the home page.

To enter make as many themes as you want then upload them to http://imageshack.us then send the link to the theme in a comment on this post.

The competition ends next sunday and the winner will be announced on the same day.

R4 Theme Creator is a free programme that lets you easily make themes for your R4DS.

You can download it here you also need to install Microsoft .Net framework 2.0 to make it work which you can download here

DS Organize

DSOrganize is a homebrew organizer application for the Nintendo DS which includes a calender, internet browser, picture viewer and lots more.

You can download it here

To put it onto your R4DS unzip the file then move all of it’s contents onto the directory of the micro SD card.

How to put roms onto the R4DS

Step 1: Insert the usb memory card reader/writer (with the micro SD card inserted) into the computer

Step 2: Download the rom you want (you can get roms from http://nds-roms.com)

Step 3: Unzip the rom file then drag and drop the file with .nds at the end of it onto the directory of the micro SD card

Step 4: Insert the R4DS (with the micro SD card inserted) into the DS and start playing
